What to Expect:
Fun Creative Session
Drink & Draw always kicks off with some fun, silly warm-up activities to help everyone loosen up and get to know each other. Then we dive into a longer creative session using a mix of materials—perfect for beginners and seasoned drawers alike! We normally pick a theme for each session, in the past we’ve done portraiture, still life and dog drawing.
Materials
We have a well stocked supplies cupboard in the studio, available to use in all our in-house sessions. This includes; quality cartridge paper, mixed coloured and sugar paper, acrylic paints, chalk pastels, oil pastels, coloured pencils, charcoal, inks and much more. You are welcome to bring your own materials if there’s something special you’d like to try.
Great for Friends
Whether you're coming with a partner, friends, or flying solo, there's always a great mix of people—perfect for sparking conversations and meeting new faces!

About the space
All our workshops take place in our downstairs studio, which offers step-free access. Led by our talented community of local artists and tutors, each session includes all the materials you’ll need—though you’re welcome to bring your own if there’s something special you’d like to use.
We have a range of seating options to keep you comfortable, including high workbenches with stools, standard tables and chairs, and easels.
Tea and coffee are available at every workshop, and you’re always welcome to BYOB. Toilets are located on the ground floor.
Studio Sherborne is set in a characterful old industrial unit. While we’ll do our best to keep things cosy, the space can be a little chilly at times—so we recommend bringing an extra layer or two to stay warm and comfortable.
