Experimental Painting with Victoria Young Jamieson

Thursday 12th November, 1–3 pm · £26

Join artist Victoria Young Jamieson for a playful and experimental painting workshop exploring the possibilities of ink and mixed media.

Inspired by the colours, textures and forms found in nature and the landscape, you’ll experiment with acrylic inks to build layers, discover unexpected textures and create dynamic effects. Working within a circular format, you’ll be encouraged to respond intuitively to the materials and let the process guide you.

No previous painting experience is necessary - just bring curiosity and a willingness to experiment.

Your Tutor -Victoria Young Jamieson

Victoria Young Jamieson’s bold canvases, works on wooden board and paper studies recount explorations around the rugged coast of Cornwall, the rolling moorlands of Scotland and the hot deserts of the USA. Travel plays a key role in Young Jamieson’s practice and her artwork is a visual journal of these experiences. Young Jamieson exhibits internationally and work is featured in a number of prominent art collections and private homes around the world.
